James "Planter" Peterson
I am a leader, innovator, strategist, facilitator, and military pilot that believes everyone has valuable ideas. My areas of focus include space strategy, great power competition, understanding adversary thinking and decision-making processes, and facilitating strategic conversations.
My professional experience has equipped me with the perspectives of bomber aviation, combat aviation leadership, enterprise-level innovation in a large bureaucracy, connecting strategy and operations, and strategic applications.
I practice life-long learning in an array of subjects. My education and certifications include an undergraduate degree in Applied Physics, graduate degrees in European History and Military Strategy, a graduate certificate in Facilitation, certification as an Airline Transport Pilot, and training from Harvard and Stanford in innovation, Design Thinking, and leading organizational change.
